Who We Are: °Ä²ÊÍøAPP’s Identity

°Ä²ÊÍøAPP is a Christian university. The school body is inter-denominational, with roughly 56 denominations represented. Our roots are in the Reformed tradition which means we view Jesus Christ as having Lordship over all creation and believe that the Bible alone is the authoritative Word of God for our lives. As a liberal arts and sciences university, °Ä²ÊÍøAPP’s education is rooted in an inter-disciplinary Core Curriculum taken by every student. This means our programs are well-rounded and flexible and encourages students to develop their gifts as they prepare for the realities of a fast-paced, constantly changing world and workforce. °Ä²ÊÍøAPP offers Bachelor of Arts (BA), Bachelor of Business Administration (BBA), Bachelor of Science (B.Sc.), Bachelor of Kinesiology (B.Kin.), Bachelor of Communications and Media Studies (B.CoMS), and Bachelor of Education (B.Ed.) degrees.

Encourage your son or daughter to experience university life at °Ä²ÊÍøAPP first-hand. Students can register online for a Campus Visit Day or may schedule their own personalized visit through our Friday Visit program.

Important Admissions Deadlines

Is your son or daughter considering attending °Ä²ÊÍøAPP? View important admission dates & deadlines in order to keep you on track as you and your student move forward through the application process. If you have any questions or concerns, you can contact an Admissions Counsellor who assists each student throughout the investigation and application process.

Parent Events

Parent Dinner
Each year, °Ä²ÊÍøAPP hosts Dinner with the President events for parents of future or prospective students. Enjoy a catered meal while meeting with °Ä²ÊÍøAPP’s administration, faculty, and admissions staff.

Financial Aid

Learn about all the financial aid opportunities available as you help your son or daughter through the process of applying to university. View the various financial aid opportunities students have access to here.

Registered Education Savings Plan

The Registered Education Savings Plan (RESP) is a tax-sheltered plan that can help you save for a child’s post-secondary education. As a parent, you can open an RESP with your bank and make contributions to it for your children specifically for the purposes of their post-secondary education. The government matches 20% on the first $2,500 contributed annually to an RESP, invested along with your contributions. Contact your bank for more information.

Government Assistance

Students enrolled in degree programs at °Ä²ÊÍøAPP may be eligible for assistance under the Canada Student Loans Program and/or provincial student loan programs. Ontario students are eligible for assistance under the . Details can be found through the appropriate government ministry of the student’s province of residence.

Tuition Tax Credit

A student is generally entitled to a tax credit for tuition paid, plus an education credit based on $400 a month of full-time ($120 for part-time) attendance in school. If he or she doesn’t need the credits to reduce her taxes to nil, she can transfer up to $5,000 of these costs to a parent, grandparent or supporting spouse, or carry them forward for use in a later year.

Parents of First Year students will be available to visit the Parent Table on Move-In Day to hear about upcoming events, have complimentary coffee and ask any questions they may have to a Student Life representative. No registration is required.

Exam Time Care Packages

Order an exam care pack (filled with treats) for your son or daughter, or donate a care pack to an international student.

Treat Program

Throughout the year, you have access to the Treat Program provided by Campus Services. There are a variety of packages you can choose from and send to your child and/or their dorm.

OneCard

You may add funds to your student’s OneCard (meal program). Visit the Campus Services  to learn more.

Graduation

The convocation ceremony for the graduating Class of 2024 will be Friday, May 23, 2025. 

Graduation Gifts
Need a gift for your graduate? A °Ä²ÊÍøAPP branded frame for your graduate’s degree is a great choice! There are multiple options available at °Ä²ÊÍøAPP’s bookstore, .
